In 2024, the team behind The Pickers came to Impact Days with a mission: to design a transformative impact campaign and find allies who could help bring it to life. Two years later, their journey has spanned 6 countries, engaging over 650’000 people across Europe – a testament to a strategic vision, the commitment of outreach partners, and the pivotal backing of two Swiss foundations that saw both the urgency and potential of the campaign.

After presenting the campaign’s achievements to date, the focus will shift to a key driver of its success: robust financing from engaged partners. The discussion will delve into what motivated the foundations to invest, and how the collaboration between the filmmakers, impact strategists, and funders was structured – not just to launch the campaign, but to ensure its long-term sustainability.
