In Switzerland’s commodities market, justice is often conspicuously absent. Public Eye has compiled an unprecedented list of 20 court cases involving traders in this sector and has teamed up with artist Jean-Philippe Kalonji to illustrate them.
Bribes, financing paramilitary groups, toxic waste disposal—trials that would expose corrupt practices and serious human rights violations rarely make the headlines. The powerful drawings produced by artist Jean-Philippe Kalonji, in collaboration with Public Eye, bring to life cases of human rights abuses, environmental damage, and corruption in which Switzerland is repeatedly implicated.
Sunday 09.03, 13:30: Guided tour by Kalonji and Public Eye experts Adrià Budry Carbo and Britta Delmas (free entrance, registration required from the 9 March event in our programme – In French only)
