Boy Erased

Jared, 19 years old, is the son of a baptist pastor and a dedicated housewife, played by Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman. When the couple learns that Jared is attracted to boys, their reaction is irrevocable. He is sent to a sexual conversion camp with particularly brutal methods. He is thus faced with two options : stay quiet and suffer, or live and lose his loved ones. This remarkably directed film is inspired by a true story.
