The Morges regional group of Amnesty International Switzerland invites you to a screening of Simon Klose’s documentary Hacking Hate. The screening, organized in collaboration with the FIFDH, will be followed by a discussion on the rise of the far right. Admission is free.

The film:

A Swedish journalist, My Vingren is renowned for her in-depth investigations. In the documentary Hacking Hate, she infiltrates extremists movements online to witness the racist rhetoric and tactics of white supremacists. Meanwhile, she probes the platforms’ internal regulation mechanisms. Venturing deeper into the world of online hatred, she finds that her personal life is turned upside down. Film selected in competition at the FIFDH 2025, Best documentary award at Tribeca Film Festival 2024

The discussion:

The screening will be followed by a discussion on the rise of the far right and online hate, with:

  • Oscar Mazzoleni, Professor of Political Science at the University of Lausanne
  • Illan Acher, Digital Rights Expert at Amnesty International Switzerland
