In Auditoriums

FIFDH for Schools offers screenings in school auditoriums, followed by discussions with guest speakers. Films from the Festival’s official selection can thus be screened at your institution throughout the year.

Organising a screening outside the Festival

For one class

Please visit our online platform, where you can independently watch one or more films from the FIFDH for Schools programme.

This offer is free of charge and available throughout the year.

For several classes

We come to your institution to organise a screening in your auditorium. This option is available from September to December and from April to June.

The costs are covered by the DIP for public educational institutions in Geneva, while private schools and institutions outside the canton of Geneva are responsible for the costs.

We confirm that it is possible to organise this event.

At the same time, teaching materials will be sent to you to help you prepare the session with your pupils.

Step 3

We take care of obtaining the film rights and preparing a discussion with a guest speaker.

If needed, we can also arrange a technical test in advance.

Step 4
Screening

On the day of the screening, we come to your institution with the guest speaker and the film file.

The screening is followed by a discussion with the students.

The event lasts a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Film catalogue

For screenings in the auditorium, we offer a wide selection of films. Each film comes with an educational pack. We also arrange for a guest speaker to visit at the end of each session to explore the topic in greater depth with the pupils.

Several themed programmes are available.
