Health: A Right or a Privilege?
Although access to healthcare is recognised as a universal right, it is obstructed by numerous barriers, with women and marginalised groups among the first to be affected. Medical research continues to overlook women’s health, while care systems exclude those living in precarity and stigmatise people deemed marginal. These inequalities reveal how the organisation of Western healthcare systems mirrors, and often amplifies, the injustices that run through society.

Chronically Ignored
Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and post-infectious syndromes affect millions of people, yet these conditions are often misunderstood and overlooked. Through the testimonies of patients, their relatives and medical professionals, the documentary brings to light the pain, despair and isolation experienced by those affected, while exposing medical and social neglect exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. A film that calls for greater awareness and mobilisation in support of research and care.
