Voices of Belleville
The film Belleville nous verra toujours danser dives into the lives of teenagers who find, in a safe haven, a place to dream, exchange and imagine collective projects. The screening, offered with audiodescription, will be followed by a listening session of the last episode of the Bibliothèque Braille Romande podcast, Le Point Son, in which three young blind girls interview one of the film’s protagonists. Blinera, Tatiana and Nae, three students schooled in Geneva, host the podcast. They welcome Solo, to exchange around the film’s themes and the challenges of integration for this generation.
This screening is available with audio description. The procedure for audio description via the Greta application can be found here.
Belleville Beats
In the north of Paris, La Perm’ welcomes the teenagers of Belleville as a second home. This community space has become both a refuge and a place of creation for Matthieu, Solo, Kany and their group. Through debates, shared dreams and collective projects, they build a space for resistance in the face of the transformation of their neighbourhood, while preparing Belleville en Vrai, a festival where everything they have sown can finally come to fruition.
