How Do We Push Back Against Capitalism’s Violence?

Ticket

Sunday 15 March – 10h00
Bains des Pâquis
Quai du Mont-Blanc 30, 1201 Geneva

What do we do when capitalism causes harm, through inequality, exclusion and the drive for profit at any cost? Is resistance possible? And can we imagine something different: a fairer, more humane way of organising society?

Capitalism is more than an economic model. It structures daily life : how we work, relate to one another, treat the environment and experience time itself. When that system produces damage, the question is no longer theoretical. How should it be challenged? Drawing on Saint Luigi – Comment répondre à la violence du capitalisme and Parasites, this discussion looks at capitalism as a source of systemic harm and explores possible responses : personal, collective, political and ethical. A space for clear thinking, and for turning critique into action.
