Commented visit: 20 legal cases in the eye of Kalonji

Ticket

Sunday 9 March – 13h30
Commented visit with Kalonji and two experts from Public Eye
Espace Pitoëff - Café du Festival
Rue de Carouge 52, 1205 Geneva

Artist Kalonji and Public Eye experts Adrià Budry Carbo and Britta Delmas take you behind the scenes of legal cases involving traders in the Swiss commodities sector. A discussion organised as part of the exhibition ‘20 legal cases in the eye of Kalonji’.

Bribes, financing paramilitary groups, toxic waste disposal—trials that would expose corrupt practices and serious human rights violations rarely make the headlines. The powerful drawings produced by artist Jean-Philippe Kalonji, in collaboration with Public Eye, bring to life cases of human rights abuses, environmental damage, and corruption in which Switzerland is repeatedly implicated.
