How Can Europe Resist Re-Fascisation?
Across Europe, far-right discourse is increasingly normalised to justify restrictions on freedoms, widening inequalities, violence against marginalised groups, expanded surveillance and the gradual erosion of the rule of law. Behind security, economic and even ostensibly modernising arguments, democracy itself is being hollowed out. This forum will examine these dynamics through feminist, anti-racist and decolonial perspectives, and question whether historical education has failed to play its role in defending rights.

Meloni Rising
Ten years after founding her own party, Fratelli d’Italia, Giorgia Meloni becomes, at just forty-five, the first woman to assume the most powerful political office in Italy. For the first time in the history of the Italian Republic, the leader of a party with roots in neo-fascist movements comes to power. What dangers does this pose to democracy and civil rights?
