Draw for Change : We Are Fire
Through the drawings she shares on her Instagram account, Mar Maremoto sketches women who resemble her: dissident, assertive and vulnerable. The Mexican illustrator tackles issues relating to feminism, the rights of LGBTIQ+ people, but also mental health and self love. Screening followed by a discussion on gender-based violence in Mexico and art as a means of resistance. In the presence of director Karen Vazquez Guadarrama and protagonist Mar Maremoto.
