L'Emprise des sentiments

Working in a partner violence and gender violence support service, Nadia, Audrey, and Sandrine assist victims of domestic and family abuse. Tucked away in an attic in the heart of Liège, they welcome women from varied backgrounds: some remain in immediate danger, others are rebuilding their lives, but all have been deeply shaken by the violence they’ve experienced. Whether they come once, twice, or for months or years, this association provides a space to share their painful experiences, make sense of them, realise they’re not alone, and begin to reclaim their sense of identity.
