To complete its management, the FIFDH team and its Foundation Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Guillaume Noyé to the position of Operational and Administrative Director. He succeeds Rachel Gerber, who has successfully contributed to the Festival’s development over the past six years.
“ Guillaume’s arrival, with his experience and knowledge of Geneva’s cultural environment, is the perfect complement to the FIFDH’s new management team, which will be able to offer a strong, bold and inclusive 2024 edition. ” Yves Daccord, President of the FIFDH Foundation
Guillaume Noyé has been involved in Geneva’s cultural sector for many years – as General and Operational Director for the Festival Voix de Fête, and previously as administrator of the Club Chat Noir – and will bring his expertise and knowledge of the field to the FIFDH. Alongside his activities in the cultural area, he has worked with a number of social and humanitarian organisations (Geneva Red Cross, Hospice général, Fondation Clair-Bois for people with multiple disabilities, etc.).
His profile, his managerial and human skills offer the FIFDH exciting prospects, not only for its current structure, but also for the development of new synergies within the team and with its partners.
Guillaume Noyé will join the trio of directors of the FIFDH as of 4 September 2023, alongside Laila Alonso Huarte and Laura Longobardi, recently appointed co-Editorial Directors of the Festival.
