Cannes Festival– Meet us at the Palestine Pavilion

Dans le cadre du Festival de Cannes, le FIFDH se joint au Palestinian Film Institute pour co-présenter le panel Palestinian Film Landscape: Initiatives and Possibilities.

For years, Palestinian institutions and structures have been shaping the future of cinema through culture, education, adopting artistic productions with Sumuod, a word of steadfastness that resonates for the Palestinians.

During the panel, below experts will discuss Palestinian ecosystem-building rooted in resilience, imagination and self-determination :

• Dr. Ezzaldeen Shalah (Gaza International Festival for Women’s Cinema – GIFWC) ;
• Najwa Najjar (Membre du European Film Academy board et Président du Jury du GIFWC) ;
• Rashid Masharawi (Masharawi Fund et Fondateur du Gaza Film School) ;
• Khaled Jarada (The Palestine Animated Collective) ;
• May Jabareen (Philistine Films) ;
• Salma Abu Ayyash, as moderator.
