Deconstructing adult domination
According to French statistics, in 2020, over 90% of reported violence against children was perpetrated by close family members. Such domination bears down especially hard on LGBTQIA+ young people, whose gender identities or sexual orientations are often questioned. Should we not instead trust young people’s capacity for self-determination? Rethinking institutions could open the way to a society where they are truly recognised as political actors in their own right.

Queer Camp
Faas, Fano, Jeroen, and Finley join a summer camp specifically for queer youth. On a farm adapted into a camping site, 65 teenagers from across the country confront their emotions and desires. Between group discussions and personal development workshops, these young people learn to accept themselves and nurture self-love. Yet their exchanges and the mutual recognition among them go deeper than any of them anticipated.
