The “Little Jaffna” district of Paris is the heart of the city’s Tamil community. Michael, a young police officer, is tasked with infiltrating and investigating a criminal group suspected of extorting and laundering money for separatist rebels in Sri Lanka. His loyalties are increasingly tested in a relentless pursuit of one of the capital’s most secretive and powerful gangs. In this breathtaking film, director and lead actor Lawrence Valin plunges viewers into the heart of the Tamil diaspora in Paris, exploring the internal conflict of those caught between two cultures. Little Jaffna is populated by men and women who have remained in the shadows for too long.
