FIFDH audiences are invited to the Festival Bookshop for a signing session with authors Sabyl Ghoussoub and Christophe Ayad. The Bookshop is open daily before and after each event. Books by attending speakers, as well as a broad selection of titles connected to the Festival’s events, are available onsite.

Born in Paris into a Lebanese family, Sabyl Ghoussoub is a writer, journalist, photographer and exhibition curator. He has published three novels, the latest of which, Beyrouth-sur-Seine (éditions Stock), won the Goncourt des lycéens 2022. He is responsible for the special editions of the Lebanese daily L’Orient-Le Jour. He is also the author of Beyrouth entre parenthèses (2022, L’Antilope) and Le nez juif (2018, L’Antilope).
 
Christophe Ayad, born in 1968, was a correspondent in Cairo and an Africa-Arab World reporter for Libération. He joined Le Monde in 2011, where he covered the Arab revolutions. In 2014, he was appointed Head of the International Department. Since January 2019, he is a special correspondent. He is the author of a book Geopolitics of Egypt and of two documentaries Darfur, autopsie d’une tragédie and Le crépuscule des Assad. He was awarded the Albert-London Prize in 2004 for a series of articles on Rwanda and the war in Iraq.
