Between resistance and revolt: the power of images

The 2024 edition of the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights Geneva (FIFDH) took place from 8 to 17 March. Over 10 days and 98 events, the Festival welcomed more than 30,000 festival-goers, 213 guests, 180 volunteers, 40 team members and 150 partners.

By having its finger on the pulse of today’s world and using the potential of cinema as a tool for engagement, the Festival succeeded in gathering its audiences with those who offer a different perspective on the crises, and encourage us to think together about the world we want for tomorrow.
