While governments and corporations are racing to get the cheapest raw materials for their unlimited growth, environmental activists Berta, Carolina and Maxima tell us the other side of the story. How to keep protecting the planet when your life is at risk? The Illusion of Abundance tells the stories of those who pay the high price of ‘development’. It shows the inspiring conviction of three women who have globalised their resistance and hunt down corporations wherever they hide.

The film, supported by over forty NGOs, was selected in 95 festivals worldwide in 2023 and won awards at some of the most significant international human rights and environmental film festivals.

The case study of the impressive impact campaign developed around this film, which started in Europe in 2022 and is now ongoing throughout Latin America, will show the stages in which the strategy was planned and the need for multiple key partners in order to implement and fund the campaign.
