After Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo, the adventures of Dounia, a little girl with stars in her hair, continue in her adopted country: Canada. As well as discovering a new culture and a new language, Dounia will be opening up to the wilderness and its universal and secret language. With her two new companions, Rosalie and Miguizou, she will gradually come to understand that her heart is connected to the heart of the world. She will use this discovery to guide her father, who has stayed behind in Syria, back to her.
