Enfant de l'exil

Ghorban left home, illegally at the age of 12. For eight years, the film follows his passage from childhood to adulthood and his journey as an asylum seeker. Having reached adulthood, passed his high school diploma and become a French citizen, he finally returns to Afghanistan to see his family. The years and the road travelled have created a cultural gap between Ghorban and his family that will be very difficult to bridge.
