Although access to healthcare is recognised as a universal right, it is obstructed by numerous barriers, with women and marginalised groups among the first to be affected. Medical research continues to overlook women’s health, while care systems exclude those living in precarity and stigmatise people deemed marginal. These inequalities reveal how the organisation of Western healthcare systems mirrors, and often amplifies, the injustices that run through society.
