Through the eyes of twelve-year-old Juvi, the film immerses the viewer in the lives of the inhabitants of the highest and oldest mine in Bolivia. It sheds light on a harsh reality in which death weighs as heavily as the money extracted from the earth, questioning both the physical and mental endurance of the miners, as well as their spirituality and daily rituals. The film offers a powerful and committed perspective on extreme labour, exposing the profound human cost that lies behind modern wealth.
