Ibuka, Justice / The Things We Don’t Say
Rue du Général-Dufour 16, 1204 Geneva
April 1994. In Kigali, the life of a young couple and their newborn baby is shattered when the spiral of genocide begins. Years later, another generation, born in the shadow of this violence, confronts the silent legacy of mass crimes. From immediate destruction to its intimate repercussions, these two short films trace a continuum between collective history and the lives that still bear its scars.
Screening followed by a discussion with filmmaker Ornella Mutoni.
