At the Origins of the Rohingya Tragedy

This documentary wants to go beyond the images of the million refugees who are piled up every day in the refugee camps of southern Bangladesh. Beyond the images that testify to the horror of massacres and exiles. This documentary wants to ask the question why, wants to look for the reasons why such an abominable humanitarian situation is happening, even to reveal the – undeclared – stakes of this ethnic cleansing that testifies to the chaos of the contemporary world.

Impact Statement
As always in conflicts and wars, it will appear that once again, greed of a few is responsible for thousands of deaths. And the fact that children, by definition innocent, are again the victims of such a cynical game is intolerable.
This investigative film questions the geopolitical causes of Rohingya’s ethnic cleansing.Use of rapes as a weapon of war is now systematic in today’s armed conflict. Mass rapes have been committed against Rohingyas, Yezidis, Ukrainians, Tigrayans, and recently, Israeli; time to lift the taboo on this crime against humanity.
