As an integral part of the FIFDH\u2019s public programme, the Impact Spotlight section facilitates the organisation of impact screenings in Geneva at the heart of a unique global network of that have an impact campaign ready for implementation, with a view to showcasing the films and delivering their message to an audience that includes key stakeholders.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The FIFDH offers the teams behind selected films:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Support<\/strong> in launching their impact campaign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>public event <\/strong>featuring a screening of the film followed by a discussion with international panellists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Public engagement <\/strong>through a call to action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Targeted invitations to <strong>key stakeholders<\/strong> to attend the film screening and discussion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>private programme<\/strong> enabling you to engage strategic stakeholders (representatives of NGOs, international organisations, philanthropic foundations or diplomats based in Geneva).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Networking<\/strong> opportunities with other FIFDH class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>The selection criteria are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Cinematographic quality:<\/strong> the film demonstrates a high-quality cinematic approach and narrative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Theme: <\/strong>the film addresses urgent and important issues related to human rights and\/or the environment and helps raise public awareness of these issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impact potential: <\/strong>the film has the potential to shift public opinion on the issue it addresses and to encourage those who see it to take action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impact campaign:<\/strong> the film is accompanied by a robust impact campaign ready for launch, with clear and specific objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Relevance to Geneva:<\/strong> the film\u2019s impact objectives justify organising a screening and an event in Geneva, given the stakeholders present there (international organisations, NGOs, diplomatic missions, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The FIFDH encourages applications from independent filmmakers and\/or producers who are actively committed to achieving their impact objectives by forging new collaborations and mobilising partners<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block block-accordion accordion-item\">\n class=\"accordion-collapse collapse \" data-bs-parent=\"\">\n    <div class=\"accordion-body\">\n      <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Films meeting the following criteria are eligible for selection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Recently completed documentary films<\/strong> (2026 until February 2027) with a minimum running time of 52 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Films addressing a theme related to <strong>human rights and\/or the environment<\/strong>, from anywhere in the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Films with<strong> an impact campaign <\/strong>currently underway or ready to be launched at the time of the FIFDH<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Films that would benefit from being screened in Geneva to key stakeholders, and which can engage the Festival audience through<strong> a call to action.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The FIFDH requires the<strong> Swiss premiere <\/strong>of the film to be exclusive<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Only one project per company or director<\/strong>, but an applicant may be involved in several projects as a key member of the creative team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submissions must include<strong> a screener <\/strong>or rough cut, as well as detailed information on the impact campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
