Independent Filmmaker and Gender Disability Activist<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Beatrice Leong is an autistic Malaysian independent documentary filmmaker, gender and disability justice advocate, and policy strategist whose work centres the knowledge and agency of people with lived experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is the founder of Gather Together Collective<\/em>, an impact-led policy, research and strategy practice working to bring lived experience into policy development, institutional reform and programme design. She currently serves on Malaysia\u2019s National Council for Persons with Disabilities for the 2025\u20132027 term and on the Board of Advisors of the Disability Justice Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her work challenges the exclusion of disabled people, particularly women and girls, from the institutions, policies and cultural narratives that directly affect their lives. She is currently in production on her debut feature-length documentary, The Myth of Monsters<\/em>, which draws from her own experiences of autism, trauma and misdiagnosis to examine the power of institutions to define, categorise and disbelieve disabled women.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vivian Schr\u00f6der is an Impact Strategist and field builder and founder of Social Impact Worx. Previously, she co-founded The Good Media Network under which umbrella she led The Good Media Lab & Pitch, Germany\u2019s first impact programme, and co-hosted Doxumentale, International Documentary and Media Festival Berlin. Impact campaigns she worked on include Total Trust, directed by Jialing Zhang and Not Just Celsius, a campaign that amplified the voices and positions of World Youth for Climate Justice and Pacific Island Students Fighting Climate Change ahead of the ICJ\u2019s advisory opinion on climate-induced human rights violations. Vivian has organised and co-hosted other key events, such as Climate Story Lab Berlin (2020) and Climate Justice Story Lab in The Hague (2024). Vivian is a GIPA member.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prince Odera Onyore Nyambok II is a communications strategist and creative with a background spanning Media, Arts, Entertainment, and Education. From 2013 to 2018, he hosted The Great Debaters Contest on Citizen TV and KBC Channel 1 and created its spin-off, Connect Edition. He is currently the Communications & Outreach Manager at DocA \u2013 Documentary Africa, where he co-designed the Real Reel Impact (RRI) Program and produces impact campaigns for films such as Our Land, Our Freedom and Battle for Laikipia. Beyond film, he founded MAD Royal Entertainment and the music IP rights platform MAIQCHECK.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Leonard Cortana specializes in impact producing for multisite, transnational campaigns and has participated in campaigns for films including Murder in Paris: The Assassination of Dulcie September<\/em> and Sementes: Black Women in Power<\/em>. He is currently leading the impact campaign for I, Absolutely Refuse<\/em>, addressing femicide across several European and South American countries. He has also led workshops on ethical post-screening discussions and audience engagement for organizations including Cannes Docs and Sundance Collab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a PhD candidate in Cinema Studies at NYU, his research examines films addressing the legacies of assassinated activists and their circulation worldwide. A former consultant with the United Nations Human Rights Office in Geneva and Peru, he was selected for Berlinale Talents in 2026. He also serves as Inclusion Programs & Strategic Partnerships Manager at EURODOC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
