{"id":2412,"date":"2023-10-24T14:56:58","date_gmt":"2023-10-24T12:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fifdh.org\/?p=2412"},"modified":"2023-12-22T11:13:27","modified_gmt":"2023-12-22T10:13:27","slug":"impact-update-my-name-is-happy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fifdh.org\/en\/pro\/news\/impact-update-my-name-is-happy\/","title":{"rendered":"Impact Update: My Name is Happy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div>\n  <h2 class=\"block block-heading text-center col-xxl-10 mx-auto layout-header\">This poignant film, which campaigns against feminicide, continues to echo Mutlu&#8217;s voice and that of all women fighting for this cause through strategic screenings. <\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"My Name is Happy \u2022 Trailer\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f8NX4XlFhkA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its award-winning participation at Impact Days, where it was awarded the <a href=\"https:\/\/fifdh.org\/en\/press-industry\/storyboard-collective\">StoryBoard Collective&#8217;s Impact Fund<\/a>, and at the FIFDH, where it won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peacebrigades.org\/\">PBI<\/a> Youth Jury Prize in the <a href=\"https:\/\/fifdh.org\/en\/the-festival\/about-the-fifdh\">Creative Documentary competition,<\/a> <em>My Name is Happy<\/em> has continued to build on its promising impact journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To mark <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iamaneh.ch\/en\/\">Iamaneh<\/a>&#8216;s 45th anniversary the International\u00a0Association for\u00a0Maternal and\u00a0Neonatal\u00a0Health will screen <em>My Name is Happy<\/em> as the opening film of its festival, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iamaneh.ch\/fr\/frauenstark\/programm17.html\">FEMMES!<\/a>. The festival will run to coincide with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unwomen.org\/en\/what-we-do\/ending-violence-against-women\/unite\/16-days-of-activism\">16 days of activism against gender-based violence.<\/a> This annual and international UN Women campaign kicks off on November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until December 10th, Human Rights Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building on this momentum, the directors of <em>My Name is Happy<\/em> are now collaborating with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilpf.org\/\">WILPF<\/a> &#8211; Women&#8217;s International League for Peace and Freedom &#8211; to promote the film and its impact progress.
