The Festival invites filmmakers and producers from around the world to submit their works for the official selection.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Faithful to its commitment to human rights, the Festival is seeking socially engaged fiction films and documentaries that highlight stories of struggle and resistance\u2014both individual and collective\u2014and shed light on realities that are too often overlooked or marginalized.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block block-button \">\n  <div class=\"d-flex mx-auto justify-content-center my-3\">\n          <a class=\"btn btn-outline films may be presented across several sections of the Festival and compete for the following Awards:<br><strong><br>International Documentary Competition<\/strong><br>Geneva Grand Award FIFDH<br>Gilda Vieira de Mello Award FIFDH<br>Youth Jury Award \u2013 Documentary<br><br><strong>Fiction<\/strong> <strong>Competition<\/strong><br>Fiction Grand Award FIFDH<br>Youth Jury Award \u2013 Fiction<br><br><strong>Focus Competition<\/strong><br>Vision for Human Rights Award<br><br><strong>Forum<\/strong>: films focused on specific themes, screened ahead of discussions with international guests.<br><br><strong>School Programme<\/strong>: screenings and discussions designed for school audiences, accompanied by awareness-raising activities.<br>&nbsp;<br>More information about the aria-controls=\"collapse-block_6a33bdc3757e5\">\n      <div class=\"h2 mb-0 d-flex\">\n                Eligibility      <\/div>\n    <\/button>\n  <\/div>\n  <div id=\"collapse-block_6a33bdc3757e5\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse \" data-bs-parent=\"\">\n    <div class=\"accordion-body\">\n      <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>Only films meeting the following criteria will be considered for selection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Documentary or fiction films recently completed (between 1 January 2026 and 1 February 2027) with a minimum duration of 52 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Films addressing topics related to human rights and\/or the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FIFDH requires the Swiss premiere exclusivity of the film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions must include a screener of
