All three, through their actions and with their bodies as proof, exemplify the essence of what it means to resist and to be defeated. Is there any hope that the torturer will one day rekindle his conscience? <em>Where God Is Not<\/em> is a film of testimonies from those who have been scarred by the Iranian regime.
