Debates
The Forum
Our program of high-level international debates in which are denounced all violations of human rights wherever they occur. Diplomats, NGOs, victims, artists, activists, journalists and the wider public are invited to confront their points of view during the debates which follow the screening of one of our films.
About a film
A selection of our films are put under the microscope. The screenings are following by a discussion surrounding the film with a panel of guests.
Events
All sorts of special events prepared by the FIFDH: conferences, performances, concerts, workshops, masterclasses, evenings with..., etc.
Partner events
Many events related to human rights take place during the FIFDH, and the rest of March. This program includes events organized by those partners which share the values and goals of our festival.

Exhibitions
Over the course of the FIFDH, the work of photographers, illustrators, video and plastic artists are exhibited at the centre of the Festival and elsewhere in Geneva.
Films
Fiction Competition
Our international selection of feature fiction films on subjects related to human rights. The section is open to all genres, from drama to social comedies, from mainstream cinema to art film.
Creative Documentaries Competition
Our international selection of documentaires which combines the depth of its subject matter with a strong reflection on the cinematographic form.
Grands Reportages Competition
Our international selection of documentaries which shine first and foremost for their impressive investigative work.

Our selection of fictions and documentaries selected to accompany the discussions and debates of our Forum and « About a film » events.
