Prune Nourry, renowned visual artist and sculptress, makes her film debut with this moving documentary produced by Darren Aronofsky and Angelina Jolie, with the close collaboration of Agnès Varda. She is 30 years old, and decides to face this painful journey camera in hand. The intimate and the universal intertwine, as do her work and her illness, forming an ode to life and courage, before the victory song resounds.
